Weekend plans.

This morning's e-mail contained a lot of the usual: chatter from the Tramping Club, words of the day, notes from family and friends. Unusual was the invitation to spend the weekend in Queenstown. The five of us (me, Steph, and three other friends) leave tomorrow evening in a rental car: I plan to spend it hiking. If you don't hear from me for a few days, it has nothing to do with earthquakes.
